Poker Stars review

PokerStars is THE biggest online poker site at the moment. I guess Party Poker and Full Tilt Poker are pretty big, but they just don't compare to PokerStars .  What does this mean for you as a player ? You will always be able to find the game you like. They have all the poker games you can think of, including 5 card draw and deuce to seven triple draw. You will be able to fill a table for any type of game for just about any stake.

Huge tournament fields, with at least 2500 for the $1 tournaments. Every sunday there are 2 very large tournaments, the Sunday Grand and the Sunday Million. At these tournaments you will find some of the biggest online pros, some manage to make a name there for themselves for the first time. It's a chance to hit it big .. on a sunday afternoon. Buyin for the Sunday Million is 215 dollars, except on the last sunday of the month, then it's $530.

Of course there are also satelites going to these tournaments all day long. You can even enter them sing just your frequent player points. During the WSOP they always have many satellites going there as well. It was at PokerStars that Chris Moneymaker played a $40 satellite to later go on and win the main event and become world champion.

What this huge player field also offers you, is lots of donks. Naturally with so many players, there are a lot of bad ones to be found. If you play at the $1 sng's, the level of play is just appalling. It gets a little better t $5, you'll actually find some decent players at $10 and above though. But even then, don't be surprised to even see people donking away their chips at a $100 dollar event.

So it's all good. More donks .. more tables .. more play .. more for you to do there. It's my favorite site without a doubt.
